Courses to Awaken the Indigenous Heart & Mind

Creating intimacy with our natural landscapes, inner and outer, is the pathway to restoring natural well-being. It re-awakes our innate capacity for joyful meaningful presence in the world.

Menarche Moon

A Rites of Passage Journey for Young Girls & their Mothers

Sept 7th, 8th & 22nd

This will be three days of sacred ground where we will support the young girls to prepare for the menstrual cycle, support the mothers to explore their own menarche time, and support the connection of the mother-daughter relationship.

It will offer the mom insights into how to support her daughter through both her first menarche and her transition into the teenage years, as well as supporting the mother herself to fully integrate her own menarche experience.

  • What if we mentored young girls into womanhood?

  • What if we showed them how powerful they are?

  • What if you could time travel and hold our own inner maiden?

  • What if we celebrated each others uniqueness and enoughness?

Guided by Sinead McLoughlin & Sky-Maria Buitenhuis, The weekend Sept 7th, 8th & 22nd will be centred on the ‘Rising Moon’ journey of preparing the young girls for her first menarche. Sunday Sept 22nd will be a day for the mums only - ‘The Menarche Journey’.

Rising moon

Rising Moon circles are a safe space for 10 and 11 year old girls along with their Mums, to consciously prepare for the menarche rite of passage. (Or puberty)

As we stand with the girls on this threshold to womanhood, we will explore ideas and inspiration for a holistic coming of age.

We will learn how to listen to our inner wisdom and express our needs and boundaries. We will explore the importance of nature connection, and honouring the cycles and rhythms of our body. We will experience the magic of Sisterhood, and share age appropriate information about our bodies and the menstrual cycle.

the menarche journey

This day is about supporting your daughter with your most whole self.

We will be exploring the life-cycle wheel of a woman and the rites of passages that happen along the way, what a rites of passage is and why it is important.

We will do practices for you to connect with your menarche journey, tell your story and time-travel in ceremony to reclaim what may have been missing.

Ecological Homecoming

Ecological Homecoming is an introduction to the core nature connection practices that create the deep rootedness from which regenerative culture emerges. It will deepen and expand your sense of wonder, curiosity, and connection.

When we go beyond our human-built homes we find a greater home, that of all of nature and our ecological place within it.

  • learn the core routines of deep nature connection which are the foundation of all of our teachings

  • befriend your place and all of life around you, creating a deep living relationship with the natural world

  • develop a strong felt sense of connection to all of nature, opening a pathway through which you can feel support, receive guidance and ultimately live a fulfilling life with deep trust in your place amongst all of life

  • awaken the ‘ecological self’, the deep knowing that you belong and are utterly dependent on  the Earth

all within a community of like-minded supportive people.
